Cosmic Intersection
Two connecting lines of light. The light coming up from the horizon is called Zodiacal light, dust from our solar system that the sun is reflecting off of. This Zodiacal light is usually seen after sunset in the spring and before sunrise in the fall. The other light trail is of the Milky Way's outer edges. At this moment the galactic core is below the horizon to the south and will not appear until 2am. The distant light pollution is probably Lajitas or Presidio.
