Skagsanden Roadster
3 mintue exposure that brings out the flowing clouds against the mountains. The reflection gives me the visualization of a street roadster. Post-processing included Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 where I selected a Cyanotype tone.

This kinds of sums up our morning shoot today. Woke up at 4:30 to find out at 5:45 that the weather will be rain/snow/wind until later this afternoon. Not that I wanted some down time but it was needed. Besides, who wants to go out get cold and wet.

Lofoten Aurora

Dried codfish is a staple food for the locals. We saw many houses with varying amounts of hanging fish. Drying starts in Feb/Mar and ends in May/Jun.

One of my first questions to taxi driver was, how do you keep the birds from getting to the fish? He had a couple of responses but I like this best, "You shoot one of the gulls and hang it on a pole for all his friends to see".
